Legacy, Identity & Institution Building

Where have we come from? What have we done? Where are we going?

The Road Ahead brings together community leaders, practitioners, cultural contributors and the public for a live Black History Month conversation examining Caribbean Britain — our history, our achievements, our institutions and what happens next.

From Windrush and Notting Hill Carnival to education, business, culture, leadership and community, the evening asks an important question: Have we built the shop — or are we still looking through the shop window?

Expect presentations, lived experience, Inquiry evidence, challenging questions and an open community conversation about what we have inherited, what we have built, and what we need to pass forward.
