Junior you were one of a kind and definitely the KING of Lovers Rock. I am so proud to be able to say that we’re cousins. I will always treasure my first memory of you on Inman Road Harlesden and have photos of you at my mum’s wedding in 1965 to look back on. RIEP

Junior was a friend I had known from the age of 16. We travelled aboard a few times (when he had is beloved Jaguar. We maintained contact through the years and until he passed away. It was a privilege when he asked me to support promoting his music and manage his official fan pages on social media. I collected his music awards on his behalf . The last time I spoke to him he said Pee things are not going good for me now and even then we discussed his music and the last song I put out for him when I was in Jamaica . He was such a caring, loving , humble person. He will be missed however his music will live on forever craved in our memories today, tomorrow and forever … thats what kept him going . Rise in Zion Junior amongst the musicial greatest.
