In loving memory of my Aunt Pam.

Pam was a very special person in my life and in the life of my mother, Pansy Barnes. She was my mother’s longest, best, and most loyal friend, and their friendship was something truly rare and lasting. Through the years Pam and her family always showed us warmth, kindness, and generosity, and for that I will always be grateful.

I want to acknowledge her sons, Collin and Brian, and remember with love her late husband Vergil and her sons Terry and Neil. Their family shared so much love, and Pam carried that love with strength and grace throughout her life.

Thank you, Pam, for the friendship you gave my mother and for the warmth your family always showed ours. You will be remembered with great affection.

    With sincere condolences and gratitude,
    Roger Barnes

Our heartfelt condolences to the family. We were deeply saddened to hear of Aunty Pam’s passing. Our families shared many wonderful memories living just two doors apart, and the friendship between our parents meant so much to us before we moved to Canada.

We also remember Uncle and Andy with great fondness, and our hearts go out to you during this incredibly difficult time. May you find comfort in the many cherished memories you shared together.

    With love and sympathy,

Good day everyone. It is difficult and very emotional for me to stand before you all today

The sudden unexpected passing of this wonderful lady, has I’m sure rocked her family and friends To all of you, please accept my very sincere condolences. Another family loss to deal with, so soon. I am truly sorry

My name is Jenny, and I would like to take this moment to express my love and sincere gratitude for this amazingly caring, loyal, giving lady

I’ve had a close friendship with Mrs Johnson for many years. But this went up several gears when my late parents retired and returned to Jamaica in July 1984. Her nurturing and care towards me massively increased and she quickly took on the role in becoming my UK Mum. Being quite young then, and not having your parents close by, was a lot to deal with. And I would have been lost without her. Her unwavering love, kindness, and care for me had no strings attached or limits.

I am missing her so deeply. We had a routine where I would call her every Tuesday and at the weekend, I’m missing these too. I loved our chats and also the fun times we spent together when i visited. She had such a cheeky humour. We would eat, drink, watch TV, laugh and share personal things. Her favourite chocolates were Cadburys Fruit & Nut and Ferrero Rocher. It was a joy to bring her these little treats and see her enjoy them. She liked my Oxtail too and called it “the Biz”. We had a lot of fun times

I am so proud to call her my friend. I will forever be grateful for her love and our bond over so many years. It was genuine and rare. I was truly blessed to have her in my life. I will treasure all the many memories I have.

Rest in eternal peace dear Mum, until we meet again.

And to all her family and friends, again my heartfelt condolences to you all.

    Thank you for listening.
