I am kevin Sinclair, Gladys Powell’s nephew from her sister Lissett . Auntie G. was a loving, kind and supportive lady. I knew of her before we met because she would send my mother monetary gifts especially at Christmas. I met her, for the first time in 1973 when Grandma died. She charming and classy ,always stylishly dressed . Her stay was very pleasant one. I met her several times after and it was always a pleasure to see me outgoing fun loving vivacious Aunt. I visited her in the fall of 2023 Even though the funeral turnout was small it was a lovely funeral I would like to thank my cousins Tony, Kaysha, Naomi, Taj and also close friend Lyn who took care of Aunt G.
Special Thanks to St. Michael the Archangel Church Wembley and all those who participated in honouring Auntie’s life and affirming her significance in such a meaningful send-off. Rest in Peace Gladys Powell.
