ome people don’t just live — they leave pieces of themselves in everyone they loved.
Your grandma is one of them.
In her eyes I see where you got your light from.
Sending prayers to her beautiful soul, and hugs to you and your family

    Tribute to Mrs Theresa Oduro-Nsiah
In Loving Memory – by Derek Appiah
Auntie Theresa, as I knew her, had been part of my life since my birth in Cardiff. Although I remember little of those early years, her family and mine lived in the same house in Cardiff, where she and my mother, the late Mrs Felicia Appiah, formed a close, sister-like friendship that endured until my mother’s passing in 2025. I reconnected with Auntie Theresa when I moved from Ghana to London as a young man in the eighties. She welcomed me immediately into her family and treated me like one of her own sons.
Auntie, I am deeply grateful for the love and kindness you showed my family and me over the years, especially the support you gave me as I found my way in a new environment. I will miss the warmth of 42 Hamilton Road, where you always offered me a cup of tea or a bottle of Guinness and insisted on feeding us whenever we visited. After I moved back to Ghana, you were one of the first people I called whenever I returned to London. In fact, your landline number, 0208 452 7555, is the one of the few numbers I still remember from my London days. Most of all, I will miss your infectious laughter, which still rings in my ears. Every visit with you left me feeling better than when I arrived.
Although you are no longer with us, you will remain in our hearts forever. As we say our final goodbye, we do so with sadness, yet with the consolation of knowing that you rest in perfect peace. I can almost picture you reunited with Mum, sharing one of your famous giggles as you watch over those of us still here on earth.
    With all my love.
    Derek Appiah
